Garden, views and value recommended.
Reviews indicated a very nice garden with statues, the exterior design of the villa itself is apparently gorgeous and the view from the tower is said to be worth checking out. Guests found neat, basic rooms with elegant Venetian decor, quick, free Wi-Fi and these were overall said to be good value compared to the prices of Venice.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No elevator, smallish rooms and showers.
Those who are less than mobile should keep in mind that there is apparently no elevator at Villa delle Palme, while another issue reported by a small number of those who visited was that the rooms and showers were thought to be a little on the small side.
negative:
A few AC hiccups and worn out carpet.
A few guests thought that the carpet was a bit worn out, stained and needed to be replaced sometime soon. On top of this, people also had occasional issues with the air conditioning.
negative:
Too far out for a handful.
Villa delle Palme was found to be a little too far out for a handful of those staying, due to the water transport needed to get to the island from Venice.
