The area is far from the noisy and ever bustling crowds of Calangutte and Bagha. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The area is also well connected by public transport.

The Cafe Pluto restaurant at the villa has won over many guests, both Indian and foreign. The menu options are varied and the kitchen is open, hygenic and clean. The guests have particularly enjoyed the ingigenous parathas and sweet lassi. For those looking for different cuisines, multiple restaurants are available within a ten-minute walk.

Goa is known for its party environment. Anjuna has many clubs with a vibrant night-life. The pool at Villa Anjana generally has party travellers, drinking and playing music. Music in and around the villa is generally on till midnight. This may be a concern for people taking a relaxing trip with their families. A non-poolside room is advised for travellers on relaxation trip.

Many guests have complained the state of the room and the villa in general for being unclean. Guests have had a problem with the sheets and towels provided. The pool also gets dirty certain times of the year. The general opinion was that the hotel must take daily cleaning of rooms and the pool seriously.

Many guests felt that the hotel demanded a price higher than it was worth. The prices get especially high during the peak season. The accommodation has the facilities of a two star hotel and some rooms lacked basic toiletaries. Additionally, for its price, the breakfast is not complementary.
