Hotel Vidigalhouse (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

The rooftop views are said to be very beautiful and panoramic. The city and favelas can be seen from above and it was a nice moment in time to take in the views from a higher level.

The location of the hostel is said to be just right by many guests who felt safe and close to the beaches. The area where the hostel is, is found to be more genuine and calm. Even though it is away from the city, it is calmer and serene, in a favela area.

Many guests were content with the friendly treatment they received by the staff members. They were surprised and happy to interact with local Brazilians and also some even thought their actions to be very family-oriented. They are said to have big, warm hearts.

For some guests, the loud noise coming from their accommodations was too loud. They understood it was a hostel, but the noise level could have been better. Sometimes at night, the outside noise was too much as well.

Some of the guests found the rooms to be too small for comfort. They felt claustrophobic and would have preferred some more space. Some people who booked together would have liked some more space, especially with only one bunk bed per two people.

The transportation services were a bit expensive for some guests who wanted to travel to the beach or to the centre of Rio de Janeiro. The taxis to the airport are also found to be expensive. For some guests, the location was too far away from the centre.
