A lot of guests were impressed by the welcome drinks at the in-room minibar that were given for free. In addition, guests are also amazed by the braserrie's wine list, which is as thick as a novel, while the coffee is extremely delicious.

The grounds and the small landscape in front of the hotel look fantastic according to many guests. Moreover, the rooms also have beautiful views of the stream, hills, or the river that can refresh and calm your mind.

Van Der Valk Verviers' parking lot can be used for free, which the budget travellers were happy about. In addition, guests noted that the parking area was very clean and there were good spots always, even during peak seasons.

A few guests said that the employees at the restaurant had to be called more than once. There were also times when wrong orders were given to them. However, guests added that the food served at the restaurant was delectable.

Some guests were not able to sleep until midnight because of the disco sounds played on-site. Thus, you are advised to close the windows and wear earplugs before sleeping to minimise the noise that may enter the rooms.

At times, there was no cold water during the morning. Meanwhile, the hot water can be lacking too on other times. However, guests mentioned that this issue didn't happen in the entirety of their stay.
