Hotel Valletta Merisi Suites (Valletta, Malta)

Guests staying at the Valletta Merisi Suites find the location excellent. Everything in Valletta is within walking distances. For places further away the area has an excellent bus service to help guests get around the island.

Guests appreciated that the staff took the trouble to arrange taxis to pick them up from some places they visited. They also found it extremely convenient to leave their luggage at the hotel after Check-out. They could collect it late in the evening after a busy day.

Several guests liked the apartments, which are modern and clean with an excellent maid service. They also like the amazing views of the Grand Harbour seen from some rooms and say they would definitely recommend staying at the hotel.

Many of the guests had issues with the size of the rooms, bathrooms and the pool. They say that the rooms hardly had any space between the beds and wardrobes, the en suite bathrooms resembled the size of a broom cupboard and the pool was merely an oversized bath.

Guests who plan to stay in for the day or night are disappointed with the minimal channels on TV. Adding to the woe is the fact that most of them are news channels. Some of the apartments have only one bed, some room views are only of a wall and no extra sheets are available if needed.

Some guests feel that the hotel is poorly equipped for the prices charged. The elevator constantly breaks down and also smells of smoke. Guests with walking difficulties find the hotel unsuitable because of the steep steps. Desk clerks are hardly available and guests find this a huge inconvenience when they need any assistance.
