On top of this, those who stayed said there are plenty of restaurants found within an easy walking distance in Ueno.

Guests said they experienced an authentic capsule hotel experience, and due to the sauna, donned light yukata robes and stored possessions on entry. The public bath facilities with sauna and hot pool are said to be great — but not for the shy, since people are not clothed here — with everything in the way of toiletries also provided.

Those who stayed reported simple, clean and comfortable capsule dormitory lodgings, with lockers and free Wi-Fi included. These were said to come at a very good price and the staff was considered helpful, with enough English to get their meaning across.

Many of those who stayed at Capsule And Sauna Oriental mentioned that there is a lot of cigarette smoke throughout the property, although others said the dedicated non-smoking floor was good for those wanting to avoid this. Furthermore, others said it was sometimes a little hot in capsules, but those simply wearing the yukatas provided found this to be fine.
