Simple, Easy Locale
The environment has a serene, congenial ambiance and conveniently accessible from M6. It's a short drive from Newby bridge at the base of Windermere and Browness. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The building itself has a contemporary look but set in a semi-rural region. Don't be surprised to see free-range chickens running around the facility.

Sleep Tight
You won't have a problem sleeping in the B&B. The surroundings are mellow, quaint, and quiet.

Extremely Hospitable Owner
The B&B owner is an upstanding individual who really takes care of the place. Very helpful, easy to talk to, and has a fascinating collection of cars. Don't leave without trying the fine breakfast with fresh eggs from the free-range chickens on the property.

Leave Your Shoes At The Door
You are greeted with the request to remove your shoes. Sure, the facility has light coloured carpeting; but maybe it's not a practical choice if you are running a B&B!
negative:
Don't Get Swept Away
You may find the water pressure in the shower very strong, so you have to be careful when turning it on. In addition, there appears to be slight roofing issues as the ceiling has bits of mould. Nevertheless, the shower is very clean it's just the ceiling that has some problems.
negative:
No Place To Walk To
Though the B&B area is tranquil and lovely to look at, there are no places to actually walk to. Places like shops, pubs, and restaurants are easy to get to if you have a vehicle.
