Hotel Tulipán (Havana, Cuba)

Guests have mentioned that the hotel is a low-cost choice if you want to be close to everything in Havana, but you definitely get what you pay for.

There have been reports by guests that the bed linens were dirty, some with bodily fluids and stains. Toilets and bathrooms were disgusting as well. One guest reported a pee-soaked mattress and dirty pillow cases, and that the room smelled dirty and was damp.

There has been reports that guest were actually locked within the breakfast room until crowds thinned outside the entrance. There was mention that there isn't any organisation when it comes to the breakfast buffet and service and you tend to feel rushed because of the crowds of people waiting to eat.

A few guests mentioned that they felt very unsafe when they stayed at this hotel. The hallways were dirty, lighting poor, some floors were slippery and a room door even fell off. Some feel like the location is in an intimidating area of Havana.
