Comfortable rooms
Previous guests tend to be complimentary about the standard of the rooms at the Travelodge Nottingham Riverside, especially now the accommodation has been upgraded. It's not like you will enjoy an endless selection of amenities, but the rooms are functional at least.
positive:
Polite and helpful service
Reviews indicate that the staff manning the front desk of this hotel offer a friendly welcome and are keen to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. Furthermore, any issues that guests bring to the attention of staff appear to be resolved quickly.
positive:
Good overall value
Many guests, when reviewing this hotel, comment favourably about the value for money a stay here offers. There are extras costs, such as breakfast and extended Wi-Fi access, to allow for, but the low room rates should mean there's sufficient room in your budget to take care of these.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Minor housekeeping oversights
Although guests tend to describe their room as clean upon arrival, it does seem that there are some issues with the on-going housekeeping service. More than one guest complains that their room was not cleaned at all while others mention that tea and coffee supplies, as well as towels and toiletries, are not always replaced.
negative:
Disappointing put up beds
Those guests who stayed in a family room and made use of the put up beds sometimes describe these as uncomfortable to the point you will be able to feel the springs through the mattress.
negative:
Reports of noise
There are several comments about noise among reviews of this property. Some guests mention noise from within the hotel but note that the staff is quick to address the problem of rowdy occupants. However, other guests mention traffic noise - a problem the hotel can do little to resolve.
