Hotel Travelodge Eugene Downtown (Eugene, USA)

You can't get better than this price in central downtown Eugene. This spot offers no frills accommodations within easy walking distance of University of Oregon campus and all the downtown attractions, dining, shopping and nightlife. Wi-Fi and parking are free, the pool is refreshing, there's an outdoor seating area and the complimentary breakfast is limited, but does the job - mostly fruit, bagels, muffins, pastries, oatmeal, applesauce and hardboiled eggs with coffee and tea.

Not the most modern place you'll find, but it's okay for a night or two in Eugene. Mostly clean with various layouts, cozy beds, excellent showers and decent televisions.

These folks are polite, enthusiastic and friendly and regularly go out of their way to help you. If you need assistance with travel to outlying areas, undoing the mistakes of outside booking companies, or dealing with discomfort of any kind here - don't hesitate to call the desk! Any issues will surely be resolved.

If you like brewing your own coffee in your room, forget it. But, never fear - the hotel lobby serves fresh coffee daily alongside the complimentary breakfast. Linens are worn and low quality so you may not have a luxurious night's sleep - bring your own pillowcase if you think it might be an issue.

Everything needs an upgrade here and smells like it too. Although most of the provisions still functions adequately, you'll get no thrill from the decor or amenities in the rooms or common areas.

Check your room before you pay if you get a chance. Make sure it's clean - and by all means, check the beds and bathrooms. You may want to bring flip flops as the carpeting and showers may not pass your inspection.
