Nice quiet area
Despite the fact it's on the northern fringes of town, the area surrounding the hotel seems to revel in being a nice little haven of relative peace and quiet. For sure, your walk out to a nearby restaurant is likely to be every bit as relaxing and enjoyable as the evening meal itself.
positive:
Staff members are courteous and capable
The hotel's employees are good, hard-working individuals who like to see that their guests are enjoying their time away. Needless to say, this is not always the case in budget hotels nowadays so it's certainly most welcome!
positive:
They have a pancake machine!
Even if you're not wowed by the free breakfast of cereal, fruit juices, fresh brewed coffee, hot oatmeal, bagels, pastries and fresh fruit offered each morning; you'll surely enjoy using the automatic pancake-making machine!!

Partition walls are pretty thin
It has to be said that the walls which separate the guest rooms here aren't that thick at all. You'll just have to pray that you don't end up staying above/below/next to people who row a lot or watch TV with the volume up high...
negative:
Older rooms aren't so great
Whilst most of the guest rooms at Travelodge Holbrook are, generally speaking, of a pretty good standard, there are a few older accommodations which leave a little to be desired. It's not that their bad as such it's just that they feel quite a bit more oppressive, almost claustrophobic, than the rest of what's on offer.
negative:
But that's about it...
If you're not blighted by noisy neighbors and avoid the older accommodations, chances are you'll end up having a nice time staying here as Travelodge Holbrook is, when all is said and done, a really rather good budget hotel.
