Positive Reviews
positive:
Keen staff members are very hospitable
As well as being highly personable, the small yet very accommodating team at this hotel is also highly professional and proactive. Small wonder then that so many visitors have had nothing but complementary things to say about them.
positive:
Location is very agreeable indeed
The vast majority of guests staying here loved the fact that this hotel is close to loads of restaurants, shops and stores, including a huge Walmart. Being so near to the handy Whitemud Drive intersection (which connects to all the other express ways in Edmonton) was also considered a bonus.
positive:
Pool is perfect for kids
Whilst it may not be large enough to accommodate adults who like swimming endless lengths, the heated indoor pool is more than big enough to keep kids of all ages thoroughly entertained for a good long time. The adjacent whirlpool tub was a big hit with grown-up guests!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hotel interiors look quite tired
A large number of guests have been less-than-impressed by the rather fatigued looking interiors within this hotel. Evidently, it is the guest rooms (and bathrooms) which seem to require the most TLC.
negative:
Breakfast room is too small
The dining area where breakfast is served is not large enough to accommodate the number of patrons that typically wish to use it. Very few guests liked the fact that they had to head down to breakfast quite early just to avoid waiting in a queue!
negative:
Air-conditioning isn't the best
Many guests have said that the in-room air-conditioning units are more often than not quite noisy, and that the air-conditioning in the hallways is so severe the interiors as a whole frequently feel uncomfortably cold.
