The hotel's location just outside the main town centre pleased some of the guests who have stayed here. This is mainly due to the more peaceful and quiet setting around the hotel which allowed a more restful stay. The main town centre is a few miles away and the main ski resorts and tourist attractions such as Bear Mountain Resort and Snow Summit are all easily reachable by car.

There are reports of broken furniture, dirty carpets and other minor issues in the rooms which disappointed guests.
