Close to transportation hubs and minutes from Ford Field and Comerica Park, this hotel was well located for most guests. They appreciated shops and restaurants in the area and described the establishment as a convenient and inexpensive base for visiting Windsor.

Guests had great praise for the owners of this hotel and described them as pleasant, helpful and quick to be of service. Late arrivals said they were greeted warmly and guests cited instances in which the owner had gone out of his way to provide additional assistance.

They described the rooms as clean and comfortable with amenities such as microwaves, mini refrigerators, free Wi-Fi access and on-site parking. Police presence near the hotel and dubious activity in the surrounding area was reported.  Guests felt the neighbourhood, on the edge of an industrial area, might not be safe for walking out alone after dark.

Guests reported peeling paint on woodwork, broken furniture, missing security locks and poorly functioning shower units.

The smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke was reported, especially in corridors and the area in front of the hotel.  Odours from cigarette smoke in non-smoking rooms was also noted.
