Guests liked the fact that they could easily explore San Antonio and its many attractions. They stated that you could reach the River Walk, North Star Mall and Six Flags Fiesta Texas in ten minutes of driving and Olmos Park and the San Antonio Zoo in 16 minutes.

Guests liked the fact that the hotel provided free shuttle services to the USAA headquarters and shopping centers like Target, HEB and Walmart. You can also access Gold's Gym, which is right across the street, with your room key, which they noted was a nice touch since it also included a lap pool.

Guests liked the fact that on top of daily breakfast featuring all the necessary staples, the hotel offered complimentary dinner Monday through Thursday, which included a selection of beer and wine.

A few guests had a negative experience with the housekeeping staff, as their attitude wasn't professional and special requests were not fulfilled. Some of the rooms also weren't adequately cleaned, which seems to be an infrequent issue, however.

A few guests reported that they were unable to achieve the desired temperature in their rooms, as it was either too hot or too cold. Some of the air-conditioning units seemed to be older, as guests noted that they were noisy and leaking, which created a musty odor.

Some guests found the mattresses to be too firm and were bothered by the apparently poorly fitted sheets, which tended to keep coming undone in the middle of the night.
