Negative Reviews
negative:
Dated and plain.
The accommodations of the hotel are very dated and plain. It is not decorated or maintained in a modern way, but only provides a simple overnight stay. It's basically just a place to lay your head and be on your way the next day.
negative:
No food service.
Breakfast is not provided with the room rate. The downstairs pub does have limited hours. If guests are hungry, they'll want to plan ahead to shop at the local grocery or find a nearby restaurant.
negative:
You're on your own.
Since the hotel staff is run through the pub, any issues or concerns which happen after closing hours won't be addressed. Those who check in or out at odd hours will find the place closed and lights off with no welcome or goodbye.
