Hotel The Westin Memphis Beale Street (Memphis, USA)

The Westin Memphis Beale Street has a strategic location. It is near to many renowned and fun tourist attractions. There are also a lot of dining options in the area, and the nightlife in town is known to be an absolute winner. Furthermore, there is a Starbucks right next door as well.

All rooms were in decent size, and you will have no trouble finding an extra space for you stuff. The bathroom has lots of space. Moreover, the elevator is wide and can accommodate many people at the same time.

At the front desk, you'll note some Gibson guitars in a cabinet. These guitars are free for guests to sign out for a night. They will provide you with an amplifier, and you get to use a nice Les Paul Electric Guitar during your stay.

The shower leaks, making noises that might disturb your sleep. Toilets are leaky as well, and there are visible molds on the tile flower. In addition, basic toiletries are not regularly replaced.

You may get the impression that the receptionists are either not interested in helping its guests, or are just downright rude. They barely provide information about the local attractions and the hotel when not asked. However, it wouldn't hurt that much to have extra patience in communicating with them.

Some air conditioning system makes noise. Some were also reported to produce an awful smell and make the carpet under it soaking wet. Moreover, you can hear a loud hum even in the hallway because of the heating/cooling system of the hotel. If this issue bothers you, ask the management for a room replacement where you can have a peaceful sleep.
