The Wayside Inn is close to plenty of winter activities, like snowboarding and cross-country skiing. It is also easy to get into easy into Breckenridge and ideal for accessing the mountains.

You'll get a warm greeting at this hotel, both from the staff and from the adorable resident dogs. The hotel employees will do all they can for your during your stay and will be affable and attentive throughout. They can also give you good advice on the best things to do in the general area.

Some of the bathrooms at The Wayside Inn are incredibly small and the showers might prove very challenging to squeeze yourself into unless you are particularly diminutive or something of a contortionist. Even raising your arms above your head is difficult and if you are tall, then you are going to really struggle.

They don't serve breakfast all year round at this property. If you are there out of season, you'll need to make alternative eating arrangements. You can always get a cup of coffee though.

While the hotel is well placed for a variety of outdoor activities, there aren't a huge amount of amenities in the immediate area. If you want to go to the shops, you certainly won't be able to walk there.
