Hotel The Village at Palisades Tahoe (Meadows Of Dan, USA)

The resort is very close to the lake and provides a perfect location for those wanting to explore the local area as well as take advantage of the slopes. Many visitors come back time and time again and thoroughly enjoy their stay.

There are many reviews from families who have stayed describing the village as ideal for a family holiday. They offer a range of restaurants to suit all ages, the rooms are very big so plenty of space and they are fully equipped to accommodate many people.

The reception desk appear to upgrade quite often. There are numerous reviews stating the rooms were upgraded for no reason from a standard to a suite.

The comments left about the value for money state the restaurants, bars and convenience stores in the village appear to be very expensive. As most suites have their own kitchenette, food and drink needs to be purchased locally. Guests have been left disappointed when they have realized how extortionate the prices are hoping it would be a cheaper option.

When it snows the tractor comes out and ploughs the snow to move it around. Unfortunately this is done at late times in the evening and has kept some people awake at night.

There are unfortunately some disgruntled guests who have not been impressed with the cleanliness of the suites as there have been issues including rubbish left in the cupboards and drawers, towels are not changed daily, unchanged bed linens and grubby en-suite bathrooms.
