The Tusker Den, An Eco Tourism & Village Resort at Murti river area or beside Gorumara National Park, Dooars. We opened our resort in 2012. Our Resort area is peaceful & pollution free. We have a garden with so many plants, and an organic vegetable farm. Gorumara has been a reserve forest since 1895. Gorumara National Park is famous for Asiatic One Horn Rhino. Others are Asiatic Elephant, Indian Bison, Hog Deer, barking Deer, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Sambar, Wild Boar, Chital, Giant Squirrels, etc. So many birds - Scarlet Minivet, Sunbird, Indian Hornbill, Brahminy Duck, Woodpeckers, Peacock, etc. Sal forest with common teak, Rain tree, Bombax, Bamboo Grove, Terai Grassland. Gorumara is home to numerous tropical orchids. The park is very close to Jaldapara National Park & Chapramari Sanctuary. Also you can visit Tea Garden, Rubber Plantation, etc. On a clear day you can see mountains. Ideal time for visit 16th September to 15th June.
