Guests loved the ambience of the hotel. The hotel is set in a converted stone barn and has country touches throughout. There are antique furnishings, exposed beams and chandeliers adding to the traditional atmosphere. There was a peaceful, tranquilising feeling while at the hotel said the guests.
There is a fantastic pub on-site that serves a classic pub menu and freshly brewed beer. The real ales prepared at the pub were a total hit amongst the guests. The ambience of the pub is rustic-chic and cosy. Guests said that it was the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing drink and unwind.
Staff at the hotel greeted the guests with a warm, welcoming attitude. They were very helpful and courteous, and extended good customer service. The countryside location of the hotel with stunning views of the Peak District National Park was also ideal. It was not far away from Cat and Fiddle, close to Macclesfield and set on a quiet, peaceful roadside. The location of the hotel was ideal for bird watching, biking tours and country hikes as well as calm strolls.
