Hotel The Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa (Jackson, USA)

This hotel is perfectly located for skiers, and really quiet. It offers guests the perfect spot to be within walking distance of many attractions, and still be far enough away to be quiet.

The onsite library is a great little spot for guests to hang out and drink their coffee, and to get to know the other guests. The little nook at The Rusty Parrot Lodge has complimentary hot drinks and biscuits, really setting the scene for a cozy lounge.

The fireplaces provided in each room are greatly appreciated, especially in the winter months, as guests will really feel the cold in this mountain lodge, amongst the snow-capped mountains!

There is a strict no smoking rule at The Rusty Parrot Lodge, but unfortunately, people being people, they will always find a way around rules to suit their own needs, which sadly means that rule-abiding guests are left to suffer, particularly if they are non-smokers, and have wafts of the smelly stuff coming into their room.

The onsite restaurant, The Wild Sage, requires guests to make reservations, in order to ensure them a spot. Unfortunately, guests had best make their reservations early enough in the day, or even the day before, as the bookings fill up quickly, meaning many will be disappointed.

Some of the romance is lost at The Rusty Parrot Lodge when it becomes clear that a member of staff has to come into ones room, first to light the fire, then to return at various intervals to keep the blaze going, effectively intruding upon one’s alone time with their significant other in front of the fireplace.
