Positive Reviews
positive:
Complimentary drinks and snacks
Guests really appreciated the fact that hot drinks and snacks, from cookies to fresh fruit, were available in the lobby area for most of the day. It may have been a small gesture, but one that went a long way with hungry and thirsty guests who appreciated the convenience of it all.
positive:
Terrific lobby lounge
The lobby lounge was one of guest’s favorite parts of the hotel. Those traveling in winter especially enjoyed relaxing by the roaring fire after a long and sometimes cold day on the slopes.
positive:
Pretty decent breakfast
The hotel may have described their breakfast as a simple continental, but the guests begged to differ. They felt that the breakfast was not simple, but contained quite a variety of foods. So much so, that they never really got bored with it even if staying some time.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Walls are “paper thin”
Going by guest comments it appears that either no soundproofing measures have been taken, or they are completely inadequate. Guests mentioned that they could easily hear sounds from adjacent rooms, even simply people talking or the TV playing.
negative:
Problems with the jacuzzi
An astonishing number of guests traveling at various times during winter 2015/2016 mentioned that the jacuzzi was out of order for all or part of their stay. Since many had been looking forward to using it to soothe their muscles after a log day on the slopes, they were naturally quite unhappy.
negative:
Looking a bit tired
Guests felt that the whole hotel was just starting to show its age. The hallway carpers were said to be one aspect that really needed to be seen to, but guests generally felt that the whole property needed a quick refresh, at least.
