This hotel is attached to the clinic and as such is super convenient for people that have just had surgery and that can’t face a long journey home. The staff will bring you right to you hotel room, and you don’t need to worry about a thing.
The people that work here are very understanding of the needs of the majority of their guests. Whether you’re here to visit a relative or have an appointment at the clinic, the staff will do their best to help you out. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The rooms at this inn are described as small apartments by many of the guests that have stayed here. They reckon that everything you could possibly need is right there in the room and all of it in perfect condition.
This hotel is owned by the Mayo Clinic but is managed by Marriott. However, this doesn’t mean that you will find a typical Marriott hotel experience here. Guests have felt a little disappointed when arriving to find that it’s very different to what they expected.
Unless you have someone to visit in the Mayo, then there is nothing at all to do in the vicinity of the hotel. There are no restaurants nearby and definitely no tourist attractions. Not an option for those on vacation.
