The location of this pub is in the heart of Swaffham, the Norfolk market town. It's the perfect base from which to explore the local countryside and get around the area.

The food here is traditional pub fare, which the locals and guests alike absolutely enjoy. Tasty and reasonably priced, the reviews speak highly about the food. There is also a fine selection of drinks in the bar.

This is a cosy country pub with a great atmosphere. It appears to host its local patrons whenever there's a match of significance because there seems to be a lot of chat on the pub's Facebook page about the matches which patrons and guests have watched in the bar.  The feeling is of a neighbourhood social hub, rather than a place to just go and drink. The reviews speak glowingly about warm welcomes and great service too.

Some guests who had booked their room online were really upset when, on ringing the inn the day before to reconfirm their booking, they discovered that the inn had no record of their booking whatsoever. However, luckily, there was actually a room available, so their problem was quickly resolved.

While most of the rooms appear to have en suite showers, the shared toilet facilities were a problem for some guests. However, while many would confess the idea of not liking the idea of sharing facilities, there were no complaints about the bathroom itself, which was always clean and in good working order.

As a lot of attractions are a reasonably lengthy drive away, it is considered that a car is a necessity for people staying here, in order to help them make the most of their stay in The Greyhound.
