Economic choice for skiers.
With Vail, Beaver Creek and Ski Copper all within a 30-minute drive, guests report that the hotel is a good economical choice for skiers making their way to the region. Described as less expensive and less pretentious than its Vail counterparts, the hotel is said to be good value and a pleasant place to stay.
positive:
Warm and friendly staff.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Isolated town proves too basic for some.
An old mining town, Red Cliff is home to just 250 or so people. As such, there's not a lot to see or do nearby. While this is ideal for those looking to make a clean break, those used to the amenities of a large town or city are sometimes left thinking that things are too basic.
negative:
No food options to start the week.
While Mango's Mountain Grill - Red Cliff's only restaurant which just happens to be located across the street from the hotel - receives rave reviews, guests are disappointed that the establishment is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Those staying at the hotel at the beginning of the week will need to seek out-of-town dining options.
negative:
No cell phone service, weak Wi-Fi.
With no cell phone service
and weak and intermittent Wi-Fi offerings, modern travellers sometimes find
things a little too isolated at the hotel.
