Everyone from the doormen to the front desk, housekeeping and bar staff seems to leave quite a positive impression on people who have stayed here. Guests have said that the staff is quick, professional, attentive, friendly and completely genuine at every point of contact. It’s this kind of hospitality that have people coming back.

The hotel is right in the heart of Georgetown, home to shops, restaurants and bars, and near the Potomac River. Guests like that they are steps from things to do and can easily get to other Washington, DC attractions such as the White House and National Mall by cab or Metro.

Incredible views of Georgetown and the Nation’s Capital, not to mention a great vibe make the outdoor rooftop bar a popular destination for hotel guests and non-guests alike. Patrons have said that the bar is well-stocked and has plenty of seating.

Guests looking to get a work out were a bit disappointed in the size of the gym. Apparently it’s tiny and has inspired people to go outside for a leisurely run instead of being cooped up in a cramped space.

Business travellers don’t like the layout of the rooms, specifically the placement of the electrical outlets and desks right next to the TVs. The awkward configuration certainly disappointed guests who were trying to get work done.

Georgetown is a busy neighborhood and street parking is sometimes a challenge. While the hotel offers valet parking, guests were not too find of the expensive price to keep their car somewhere.
