Hotel The Golden Crown & Spa (Colva, India)

The location is fine. It's a bit away from it all; however, if that's what you are looking for, you will find it at this hotel. The beach, market place, and local restaurants are all within walking distance. Walking to the beach only takes a few minutes and a stroll into town is energizing. The area feels safe and secure. You will have easy access to taxis and there are scooter's on offer as well by the hotel for daytime fun.

Rooms are satisfactory for the most part. The size is great, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is ample and rooms have a nice swimming pool view.

A nice buffet and entertainment during the night-time is great. You will enjoy eating your meals near the pool with artists playing on the other side. It makes for a pleasant late night relaxation with decent food to top it off.

It seems that the hotel prefer that you hire only their vehicles/taxis

OK, the name of the facility has “spa” in it; however it appears that there is no spa. Don't ask for an alternative as all you might get from the reception are blank stares. The hotel is not too far from the ocean, but there is no ocean view.

You will spot some unexpected visitors at the hotel. Feral cats roam the place and during meal times, you can expect a bit of pestering from these creatures. Some of the food may not suit your taste buds either. It seems that they use a type of oil that effects the food's taste in a strange way.
