Occasional Wi-Fi issues
Although not a regular concern, guests do occasionally mention that they encountered problems when trying to get online. Some simply found the service was intermittent but others were unable to get online at all.
negative:
No meals on Sunday evenings
The restaurant is only open for lunch on Sundays so guests staying on a Sunday evening will not be able to choose from the evening meal menu. However, previous overnight guests mention that the landlord offered to make them a light meal.
negative:
Very occasional poor meals
The Eight Bells seems to be growing its reputation for dining in the area. However, it's not all plain sailing as some guests have reported a disappointing experience. That said, a poor meal here is not the norm and there's a good chance that you'll enjoy a great meal.
