Handy spot for walkers, Keswick, views.
The location of The Coledale Inn is said to be fantastic, with lovely views looking out over the district and especially up to Skiddaw, the biggest peak of the area. On top of this, the hotel is close to a number of walking tracks, for those wanting to explore the area on foot, as well as just a short drive away from Keswick.

Great comfort for guests — and their dogs.
Those who stayed said their hosts were amiable, accommodating sorts, and it seems that dogs are also very much welcome in the rooms and at least one of the bars. Furthermore, guests reported attractive, refurbished rooms with comfortable beds and a great level of cleanliness, and many people enjoyed relaxing in front of the fire after outdoor adventures.

Dining and drinking on point.
