Negative Reviews
negative:
Not up to scratch.
Guests noted the delivery of service, especially in the breakfast lounge, was very slow, unprofessional and overall a disappointing experience. Guests found that the breakfast menu lacked variety and hot beverages were often served lukewarm. Some guests found that some staff lacked direction and seemed disorganised, providing a sluggish service.
negative:
Boxed in.
Majority of guests have complained that the room sizes were too small and went on to say it wasn't great value for money. The double rooms are somewhat overpriced and the standard room beds are small. Although cleanliness was never in question, the room size was certainly an issue.
negative:
Extortionate costs.
Some guests were dumbfounded by the expense of dinner menu as this was poor value for money. The cost that guests expressed as the final nail in the coffin was a £2 charge for debit card transactions.
