Guests loved the lagoon-style pool with salt water and sand. With lush tropical landscaping, you will experience your own private paradise. For added comfort, poolside service is always available. Complimentary loungers, umbrellas, cabanas and towels are available for rent.

Every Friday, La Plantation Restaurant hosts a Polynesian Dance Show. Guests say it's definitely worth seeing. Your booking also includes a seafood buffet with fresh and delicious dishes, as well as diet-friendly options. Reservations are recommended.

If you're looking for an interactive experience, Le Méridien Tahiti doesn't disappoint. The hotel is the first to offer L'Atelier du Chef cooking classes, featuring local dishes and top-chef techniques. The classes are very small and reservations are necessary. More into the arts? L'Atelier Artistes, hosted in the hotel's art gallery, features art workshops and social events.

Aging Anyway
Despite recent renovations, some of the rooms still appear aged. A few guests also reported various in-room amenities being out of order. In addition, some public areas of the hotel don't appear to be attended to regularly or well-maintained.

Though most guests were pleased with the service they received at Le Méridien Tahiti, the hotel repeatedly appears to be understaffed. Guests say the busy hotel personnel can be inattentive, and slow in responding to requests.
