Hotel Swiss Star Tower - Self Check-In (Zürich, Switzerland)

The area is superb for public transportation. The train, bus, and tram are all there. You can be in the centre of Zurich in a matter of minutes. In addition, there's plenty of shopping, supermarkets, so that you can stock up your groceries, and restaurants. The Hallenstadium is conveniently nearby as well in case you are staying in the area to catch a concert.

You will find the price quite cheap for staying near Zurich. If you are just looking for a place to lay your head and luggage while you check out the scene, this is it.

The kitchen is well stocked. You get the basics like a fridge, microwave, and kettle. The fridge and freezer is in good order, the cooking facilities (with utensils and cutlery) work fine, and the room size is ample. A really big bonus is that the Wi-Fi is superb!

Unfortunately, all the noise in the area is impossible to avoid even if you close the windows and wear earplugs! You have the trams from one side, the train from the other, the cars below, and the people out-and-about on the street. It's a noise nightmare!

There's no parking on the hotel premises and the parking garages nearby can be expensive

There is no housekeeping, no clean towels, no toilet roll, no air conditioning, and no fan either. There aren't enough electrical outlets and no main light in the room. What's more, the smell of the curry from the Indian restaurant downstairs fills the building.
