Amsterdam Central Station is directly accessible by bus or tram (17 minutes). From 1952 to 2017 the Kattenslootbrug bridge house accommodated Amsterdam’s bridge keepers. In 2017 the bridge house started a new chapter as one of SWEETS hotel's 28 hotel rooms. As with every SWEET, Kattenslootbrug’s interior is inspired by its architectural history. Tram/bus stop 'Nieuwe Willemstraat' is just around the corner and takes you to Amsterdam Central Station in 7 minutes. Tram stop 'Nassaukade' is even closer, allowing you to easily reach places like Museum Square and the Vondelpark. The neighbourhood of bridge house Kattenslootbrug offers everything from a green park (Westerpark) that often hosts events and festivals to exploring the typical Amsterdam Jordaan area on foot. A 15-minute walk will bring you to the heart of Amsterdam, and the Anne Frank House is even closer. Although the list of great dinner options is endless, we specifically recommend getting Thai take-away at the incredibly tiny building right next to your bridge house.
