Hotel Surfers Royale Resort (Surfers Paradise, Australia)

Guests commented that one of the best things that they liked about staying at the Surfers Royale was the it was directly opposite the beach, with no roads between the property and the beach providing easy and direct access.

Guests commented that because of the absolute beach front position of the property, they enjoyed spectacular panoramic views up and down the Gold Coasts' shoreline and that from the high floors the views were particularly stunning.

Staff at the hotel rated very positively across reviews with many guests saying that they were very helpful and attentive. Guests also commented that they had a great time with their kids in the pool area which was well maintained and safe.

Guests who were less than impressed by the state of the shower recesses commented that something needs to be done to scrub away soap scum and the build up of mould on tiles and in the shower recesses.

Guests who thought that the property was showing its age commented that they would like to see some money spent on the hotel to upgrade the common areas and the outside of the building. Guests commented that the carpets could use replacing to eliminate soaked in bad smells.

Guests who stayed here for an extended period of time were disappointed in the frequency of the cleaning service provided by housekeeping. Guests commented that the rooms were not serviced daily and some guests commented that their rooms were not clean on their arrival.
