Hotel Surf Motel (South Padre Island, USA)

Guests loved this property for its beachfront location. The lovely view of the sea and easy walk to the beach was enjoyed by them. There was also a balcony right next to the rooms where guests can just chill and appreciate the beauty of the place.

Boomerang Billy's Beach Bar is located on the grounds of the property. This bar was loved by guests for its refreshing drinks, food, and ambiance. There was nothing fancy but food was delicious. Nice music was also being played which set the mood of the whole place.

Most beachfront properties are very expensive, and that makes this accommodation a good find according to previous guests. If you need a place to sleep while you enjoy the whole area then this property is very ideal.

The room was very outdated according to previous guests, and was badly in need of repairs because the paint was already peeling, while bathroom was in poor state. Doors and baseboards were rotting and bugs were crawling in from under it. Furthermore, spiders and roaches can also be found inside the rooms.

Guests were terribly shocked to see how nasty the beds were. It was only a piece of cheap foam cover on top of an old mattress. Sheets and linens also were not very comfortable. More importantly, there were bedbugs present on the mattresses.

Those who are planning to stay here must bring extra towels. Guests noted that the staff would not provide more than two towels because they said it was their policy. This was an inconvenience to many guests especially to those who were in groups and needed more towels.
