Guests reported that the staff did what they could to make their stays as pleasant as possible. Many guests directly interacted with members of management and found they were particularly courteous and responsive.

Guests were delighted that they could walk to the William and Mary campus, not to mention the points of interest within the Colonial Williamsburg re-enactment attraction, when staying at this hotel. Many also brought up that there were food shops and restaurants around the hotel that were also accessible on foot.

Guests frequently complained that the property is in very bad condition. They said that the building looks very unappealing from the outside, and is not much better inside.
