Rooms at this hotel have been recently updated and, according to many guests, are now of a great standard overall. They are found to be clean with comfortable beds. There is a considerate selection of other amenities which are, for the most part, well maintained.

Most guests felt that rooms at the Super 8 Valdosta Conference Center came at a reasonable price. Aside from the low-cost rooms, the selection of free extras, including the airport shuttle, certainly help to offer additional value.

This hotel is a popular choice for guests who are attending an event at the Rainwater Conference Center. However, the location has additional appeal in the form of nearby shopping and dining options and proximity to local attractions.

Although many of the problems mentioned in early reviews of the rooms have been addressed by recent renovations, minor issues still crop up occasionally. Several guests found the air-conditioning units were weak while others found that electrical sockets were dead.

Although the staff is otherwise helpful, those guests who asked for extra amenities such as pillows and towels were often told that there was none available. It is disappointing to find these essentials are in short supply.

Comments about excessive noise arise occasionally. Some rooms seem to be subjected to more noise from the highway than others. Plus, guests sometimes complain that they are able to hear guests in adjacent rooms.
