Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Sandusky (Sandusky, USA)

The hotel is very close to the Cedar Point Amusement Park and also close to many smaller amusement establishments in the town, which make it a good starting point for a family trip. It is centrally located and restaurants and shops are nearby.

Most guests liked the rooms and the quality of the beds. Everything was clean and neat. The shower pressure is good. They also have rollaway beds if you come with a larger family so you can accommodate everybody.

Many guests had a good experience at this hotel when it came to the staff. Friendly and helpful, they provide great customer service. You can ask them for recommended restaurants in the area and they will gladly help you to come up with ideas what to do beyond the obvious in Sandusky.

Some guests experienced some noise. There are train tracks nearby, so you might hear the traffic on them. The walls are a bit thin as well so depending who you have next to you you might hear some noise. Pack some earplugs and choose a room on the second level if you want nobody walking above you.

The Wi-Fi service was not always working properly and some guests had connection problems or the service was really slow. If you need Wi-Fi for your stay this might not be the best location for you.

Some guests missed some amenities like a fridge or microwave. The place is pretty basic even for this chain of hotels. If you'd like some more amenities this might not be the right place to stay.
