Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Page/Lake Powell (Page, USA)

By far, one of the most attractive aspects of the Super 8 Page Lake Powell is its location. Many guests recommend it for its proximity to Antelope Canyon, but you will also find that the hotel places you within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Guests find that the choice of facilities at the hotel is well thought out to offer both convenience and comfort. The two pools (one children's pool) are a nice addition and are kept clean. Plus, you can squeeze in a workout in the fitness center.

Most reviews indicate that you'll find the staff offer a friendly service. A warm welcome certainly seems on the cards. Plus, the staff is happy to help with local tour information and details about attractions.

Rather unusually for a Super 8 property, a fair number of guests found that the hotel was overpriced. Granted, things like parking, Internet access, and breakfast are thrown in, but the rates mentioned by some guests do seem high. It is probably more to do with the location than the quality of the hotel.

Repeat guests at this hotel do tend to comment that over the years they have stayed at the property, the standards have noticeably slipped. A lack of on-going maintenance seems to have contributed to this opinion.

A number of guests were a little disappointed by the breakfast at the hotel. The food quality is acceptable, but the menu lacks choice. Furthermore, the serving area is so small that one guest described collecting your meal as like taking part in a bun fight.
