Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Oxford (Oxford, USA)

The Super 8 Oxford is a reasonable option if you are looking for a low-cost hotel and don't want to have to worry about extra charges during your stay. This hotel is far from perfect, but cheap rooms and free parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast make it worth a look.

Many guests choose this hotel because of its proximity to the university - Ole Miss - but there are a number of other factors that make the location a winner. It's close to the square with its shopping and dining options and within easy reach of other attractions.

While there are several problems with the rooms, many guests found the hotel lobby was nice and also comment favorably about the pool area. The pool is of a decent size and is usually clean. Plus, the area surrounding it is a nice place to relax.

Although some guests were happy with the standard of the accommodation, others raise a multitude of problems. These include roaches, poor quality bed linens and towels, filthy carpets, and an overall shabby appearance.

A number of guests comment that although they booked and were given a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering. Unsurprisingly, this a major disappointment, especially for those guests who are traveling with children.

While it would be unfair to say this hotel attracts only negative reviews, it certainly receives more than its fair share. Aside from dubious quality rooms and smoke smells, other negative feedback includes meager breakfast. loud air-conditioning, slow Wi-Fi, and occasional internal noise.
