Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Erie/I 90 (Erie, USA)

While a few guests mention that this hotel is showing its age, most agree that the rooms are found in relatively good shape. Although far from perfect, they're clean with an acceptable selection of included amenities, which for the most part are found in good working order.

The Super 8 Erie I-90 is a good choice of hotel if you're looking for a low cost stay with a host of free amenities thrown in. Breakfast, Internet access, and parking (not to mention the pool) are all part of the deal when you choose this Erie hotel.

Most guests find the location of this hotel acceptable. Easy access on and off the I-90 is part of the appeal but the proximity of the Presque Isle Downs & Casino is also appreciated. The hotel is within walking distance of a convenience store and a couple of restaurants.

Several reviews indicate that you may find the air-conditioning in the guest rooms is disappointing. At best, it's described as temperamental but more often than not, guests think it is rather ineffective.

Given the hotel's proximity to Interstate 90, it's likely that you'll be able to hear some traffic noise. You may also notice some noise coming from the corridors of the hotel and possibly from adjacent rooms - a number of guests think the internal soundproofing could be better.

The standard of customer service seems a little hit and miss. While some guests report that the staff is friendly and keen to help, other guests felt like a nuisance when they arrived to check-in or asked any questions.
