Negative Reviews
negative:
Not family orientated.
If you are planning a family vacation, this hotel is probably not for you. Guests were disappointed with the noise level of some partygoers during the night and on some occasions, the fire alarm was activated. The beds, especially the bunk styles, were the main crutch of guests' complaints.
negative:
Keep it movin’.
Some guests have commented on the price of the breakfast as being too pricey. Two minutes’ walk up the road to Wetherspoon and the cost is halved for a bigger and better brekkie. Guests have also shown a great dislike at the food served in the on-site restaurant.
negative:
Extra extra.
Guests have stated that Hotel Sunnyside should be rebranded as a hostel as there is a charge for everything, including Wi-Fi in common areas, guest towels and toiletries. They also expressed that the hotel should have a stock of toiletries ready for sale.
