Hotel Sultanhan - Special Category (Istanbul, Turkey)

Guests say that they are close to many places they want to visit in the old city of Istanbul, with the famous Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar and more only a stroll away. Around the hotel is a good choice of shops and restaurants.

Guests say that staff at this hotel are all very friendly. They are happy to assist with anything you need, including sharing their valuable local knowledge of places to visit, how to get around and where to eat, which will make your stay even better.

Although there are lots of restaurants around, guests say that you cannot go wrong if you give the hotels rooftop restaurant a try. The food, service and value are all excellent. There is a lovely atmosphere and there are wonderful views of the city from the terrace.

Guests are not very impressed with the breakfast which is included at this hotel. They find that there is not very much variety and what is available is almost the same every day, which can be too repetitive if you are staying for a few days.

While guests appreciate the free Wi-Fi included at this hotel, some guests did not find it worked well in their rooms, being unable to get a connection or having a connection that would keep cutting out, However, Wi-Fi does work in common areas.

Guests were disappointed to find that the spa, sauna and traditional hammam was not open while they were there and this was because it was out of season. When the hotel has this facility guests would like to be able to use it year round.
