Guests liked the hotel's surroundings with the lake nearby while still being able to quickly reach the highway, several department stores as well as many restaurants. They also noted that it was an ideal location for a brief layover based out of the DFW airport.

The hotel rooms include useful amenities like an air-conditioner and a kitchenette stocked with everything you might need to cook, which guests found to be quite convenient also for a longer stay.

Even though guests found the hotel to be quite affordable, they also noted that you had such great amenities like a decent-sized pool and laundry facilities on site.

Several guests suspected that the rooms had not been cleaned prior to their arrival, as they encountered stained sheets, hair in the beds and leftover trash. Others also noted that the floors seemed as though they hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while and that the housekeeping staff appeared to only have done a rather superficial cleaning.

According to many guests, the Wi-Fi signal is anything but reliable and the rooms are starting to age. Guests stated that appliances like the TV, microwave or light fixtures were broken or malfunctioning, the beds were uncomfortable, the carpets and curtains were worn and some of the rooms smelled of smoke. They noted that there doesn't seem to be any soundproofing in the rooms, as they could hear conversations and movement from other rooms as well as the noise outside from the next-door bar.

As guests pointed out, several of the staff members, especially those manning the front desk, appeared rather disinterested in providing adequate customer service and were reported to be unprofessional, curt and not very accommodating.
