Hotel Suburban Extended Stay Northeast (Indianapolis, USA)

The area and the hotel itself are both, generally, quiet. There are lots of good restaurants and other facilities nearby, though. Price wise, it takes some beating. Tariffs are more than reasonable.

The WiFi works like a dream and the stay is further enhanced by a group of staff, all of whom work to take customer satisfaction to the highest possible level. There’s a friendly welcome on arrival and cheery staff members make check in a hassle free process. Luggage carts are a useful asset.

Rooms, including the kitchen area, are very clean and there’s a useful, full-size refrigerator. Bed linen is fresh and of good quality

Cigarettes leave a smell on walls, curtains etc; long after the room is designated ‘non-smoking’. This will always be the case unless rooms are stripped and completely renovated and decorated. That hasn't happened here. There’s a noise problem too, due to rooms’ location next to the highway. Also, the air con unit is big and noisy.

The Interstate is very nearby, so the location is good in that respect. It’s just that the hotel entrance isn’t clearly indicated. You can drive past several times without spotting it.

At these prices, you don’t expect a spacious suite! It’s worth noting, though, that rooms are somewhat cramped and there’s not much storage space, particularly in the bathroom. Utensils, cups and glasses in the kitchen are sparse – probably taken by previous guests?The hotel needs to keep a check though, to ensure that arriving guests aren’t ‘short-changed’and inconvenienced.
