The hotel is situated within close proximity to the freeway, shopping and dining areas. Previous guests noted that the location was ideal for reaching points of interests, main attractions and local restaurants. Specifically, those staying at the hotel have had quick and convenient access to Old Dominion University and the U.S. Naval Base.

Most of the previous visitors at the Best Western Media Center Inn & Suites were very pleased with the hotel staff service. Many of the staff members went out of their way to accommodate guest's needs. From check-in to check-out the customer's needs are put first.

There were several complaints regarding the standard of cleanliness in the hotel rooms. Many felt they need a complete deep cleaning. Others noted that the housekeeping staff did not properly removed items from previous guests or prepare the room efficiently for new guests.
