Positive Reviews
positive:
Adequate Location
This locale is just minutes from Six Flags and the Arlington Convention Center, as well as several restaurants in the area. There is sufficient parking and a convenience store adjacent with a Subway restaurant inside; there is also a small area for parking larger vehicles. Lobby and front desk area look very nice as does the outdoor swimming pool. Pet-friendly and smoking is allowed. A large-scale gradual renovation is ongoing, so there may some noise and disarray.
positive:
Decent Rooms
Some felt the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds, hardwood floors, irons/ironing boards, good showers and water pressure, in-room coffee makers, and kitchen appliances. There are also extended-stay options available here.
positive:
Friendly Staff
Most enjoyed the staff here and felt they did what they could to make their guests comfortable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Dishonest Practices
Some reported unauthorized and fraudulent fees being charged to their credit/debit cards. Some were charged for items they did not take. Others insisted it is unwise to give credit card numbers for a reservation - you will be charged whether you stay here or not. Also, some received constant warnings that someone was attempting to access their device while they used the internet here.
negative:
Plenty of Problems
The list of problems here is long. They misinformed guests over the phone that cash was allowed as payment, but upon arrival it was not. The smell of mold was unbearable to some. Flooring is unstable, wallpaper is peeling and/or stapled on, carpeting is badly stained. Walls are thin, sinks and bath tubs are clogged, shady items can be found in the in-room safes, screens are detached from windows and long-term neighbors are reportedly undesirable, often being accused of prostitution and drug dealing.
negative:
Missing Comforts
Some reported missing chairs/couches, no deadbolt locks and no locks between adjoining room doors.
