About Stay At Rome
The Stay At Rome offers an excellent value option for visiting the Eternal City. Outside the main tourist areas, this comfortable converted apartment is a short walk from Termini Central railway station.
The four individually decorated rooms are simple, yet spacious. They come with LCD TV, air-conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities.
Guests have the choice of two large, shared bathrooms and can extract even more value by using the shared kitchen facilities. These include a microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. The host can also reserve airport pick-ups and guided tours.
Guests preferring not to eat out in the centre of Rome have a good selection of restaurants, bars and clubs in the local area to choose from.
With the Termini Metro station only 800 metres away, they can, however, reach the main attractions such as the Forum and Colosseum (less than three kilometres away) with little difficulty.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The walk from the station is not all that nice
OK the accommodation is within walking distance of the railway station, but 15 minutes walk can feel like an eternity with heavy luggage. Then, according to some guests, the areas you have to walk through are pretty desolate and unattractive. You may also find it quite difficult to find the hotel on arrival. Finally, if you haven't informed the host when you are coming, you may find that there is no-one there to welcome you!

Shared bathrooms can be a problem when busy
Sharing a bathroom is not an issue for most guests, even if they feel compelled to highlight it in their reviews! It however, can become a slight issue for some when the hotel is full.

Late check-in fees
Be aware of the check in times as you may find out, like other guests have, that you will have a hefty surcharge if you arrive late.
