negative:
Rooms are small, eco showers are weak
A lot of guests at the SpringHill Suites Durham Chapel Hill felt that the rooms appear bigger in the photos than they are in reality and were disappointed by the room sizes. Several guests pointed out that the water conservation type showers had weak pressure and should have been better. Hot water and pressure is a particular problem when the hotel is busy with conferences and so on.
negative:
Some upkeep issues
Issues such as stained or worn room furnishings, cracked tiles or inadequately clean bathrooms and showers are reported from time to time.
negative:
Some more issues
The parking lot is poorly lit and very crowded during busier times, which was a problem for guests. The breakfast area is small and the pool and Jacuzzi are small too.
